Founder of Shi Lin Learning Centre
Cherlyn Tay has been a dedicated educator for over 20 years. She founded Shi Lin Learning Centre in 2003 with the vision of creating a nurturing and effective learning environment where every student can grow with confidence.
With years of classroom experience, she understands the importance of building a strong academic foundation while also supporting each child’s confidence, discipline, and motivation to learn.
Her teaching philosophy is centered on care, consistency, and meaningful progress — helping students overcome challenges, strengthen their understanding, and reach their fullest potential.
