Mathematics

K1 and K2: This preparatory course aims to prepare pupils academically for Primary School. We engage our pupils with various teaching strategies in a conducive study environment. At the end of this programme, our pupils would be equipped with the skill set that is needed and to adjust seamlessly into their Primary One curriculum.

Primary: Our course is built in close relation to the schools, syllabus by following the theory-first approach which they would first show them an example to internalise before letting them practise. We aim to build a solid foundation for the students so that they can excel in their following years of study through heuristics.

Lower Secondary: These classes are dedicated to Sec 1 and Sec 2 pupils. Materials are carefully constructed according to their schools’ syllabus. We would reanalyse topics that they have learnt previously to further internalise the concepts and applications learnt. Beyond tackling the examinations, we also aim to build a solid foundation for the students to prepare them for the challenges in upper secondary Elementary Mathematics and Additional Mathematics.

Upper Secondary: As this is the crunch time for the students before their O-Levels, our tutors would simulate exam conditions by requiring students to complete a set of questions within stipulated time. We would also consolidate key concepts that they have learnt in previous years and revise with them. We also encourage students to seek alternative ways to solve the same problems and to check the appropriateness of the answer.

JC: This program is a comprehensive program that aims to prepare our students for their A-levels. Our tutors would strengthen their language foundation by analysing topics and concepts previously taught. Pupils would be prepared to not only solve equation but also present the solution in a manner that will score the most points for them.
